40 Hours Basic Mediation
- Define Collaborative Theories and Concepts.
- Examine Interest-based, Facilitative Strategies and Techniques.
- Differentiate negotiation techniques.
- Practice communication strategies and techniques.
- Use Collaborative Problem-Solving Strategies.
- Review conflict and mediation theories.
- Learn and practice the collaborative mediation process.
- Develop a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
- Learn ethics and statutes that govern mediation practices.
- Participate in interactive role plays and scenarios relevant to basic mediation practices.
Open to: Class size is limited to 8 due to video–recording and individual evaluation
