HOA (Home Owners Association) Mediation – Course 240

Join Phoenix Strategies in Denver or Colorado Springs for Home Owners Association (HOA) Mediation training.   Learn how formation, governance, dispute resolution processes and issues drive Common Interest Communities, and how mediators and conflict coaches can assist in conflict management and resolution in HOA disputes.

The Colorado Real Estate Commission has approved the HOA course for 24 continuing education credits

LEARNING OBJECTIVES INCLUDE:

  • Discover the different roles, rights and responsibilities of boards, community leaders and homeowners
  • Become familiar with statutes and regulations that impact Common Interest Communities
  • Identify essential elements in governing documents
  • Recognize issues and interests that are common and challenging
  • Review formal and informal complaint and dispute resolution processes
  • Expand information regarding organizations and resources that may be helpful
  • Practice through role-plays to build skill and integrate content

Prerequisite: 40-hour Basic Mediation course from PSI or any other training organization.
